So Semester 2 has been rather quiet over the last few years, but now in 2008! This year we host several different events leading up to our Annual AGM. This year in conjuction with our major sponsors "Nissin Noodles", Asean is holding the Nissin Noodle Fun Challenge at Monash Clayton, Caulfield, Parkville - and also at Melbourne Uni!
In addition to the Nissin Noodle fun Challenge, the Caulfield Asean Paintball event was also a major success! Coming up is the Poker Tournament (Sunday 17th of Aug) and this year's prize is a Sony Playstation 3! So make sure you get in quick cause spots will sellout! Parkville Asean are also hosting a not to be missed Karaoke Night at the luscious Chi Lounge! More details soon...
Asean's most anticipated second semester event - the Cocktail Night is just around the corner! This year Long Room is hosting the Cocktail Night, which will once again be supporting the Oaktree Foundation. It's definitely going to be a stellar night so make sure you get your friends in for one of the best nights for the year! Check the poster for more details!
We cap the year off with the Clayton Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday the 17th of September, where the 2009 committee will be voted in. Nominations for positions will begin online on the 10th of September. If you are interested in joining the committee next year - enquire within. Remember the most important thing is you just got to have the passion for the club, and the commitment and dedication to make the club succeed!
We look forward to seeing you at several of our events this semester and wish you all the best with the studies and work!

Hey Guys,
Just wanted to update you on the progress of Asean Events.
The Annual Asean Ball is in less than a weeks time! If you haven't got a ticket to the Ball! Then i feel sorry for you because you're missing out! Nevertheless entry to the afterparty (@ BLVD) will be only $10 at the door. But make sure you get in before the ball patrons do or you'll have no chance of entry!
The Ball is gonna be fantastic so get hyped, make sure you check the weather, bring extra shoes if you want comfort after the ball. Get your hair, shoes, dresses, suits ready cause next Thursday is going to be a night to remember!
Following the Ball will be the annual WOK match between Asean and Aa. It's always a fierce battle and it should be tight and close in this year's AFL match. The Location is to be confirmed but more details will come your way.
Currently we have WOK Trainings on Thursday Nights with the Elgar Park Dragons in Box Hill. It's going really well and if you have any interest in joining the WOK team do make your way down to Box Hill on Thursdays. Teams will be selected a week after the Ball. So make sure you're down there on Sunday May 25th!
That's all from me, so i hope to see you all this Thursday at the Asean Annual Ball 2008 - Winter Solstice!
